Good question, it's meant to equal C at 528Hz which is one of the Solfeggio frequencies. Plus I like the slightly sharper sound.

LOL, I'm not sure what you mean by that. I forgot this track was still on here. My mixing/mastering skills back in 2007 weren't the greatest... I wonder how it would sound if I remixed it now.

The internet and movies have ruined me. All I can picture are horribly matched things, Jason running in slow-mo, an entire dinner table crashing to the floor, a dog eating a school project, I've been doing this for 3:30 now... Great song!

I was a little scared by the waveform, but you've got that distortion domesticated. You've got the whole ensemble falling in line on this one, wild instruments eating out of your hand. Is Maximusmonk a reference to the FL plugin?

Thanks. I appreciate the descriptive review. Maximusmonk is NOT a reference to the plugin. It's a silly name I came up with many ages ago when I started tinkering with midi software and had no clue what I was doing. I think I'd recently watched Gladiator (hence the Maximus), and I liked the alliteration with Monk, which reflected my theological interests and my affinity for Gregorian Chant. When I got back into music mixing and got serious about it, I decided to resurrect the old name, even though it's probably kinda dumb. :)

Drums sound a little dry but I am loving the tones and textures. Reminds me of the snow biome in Terraria. Nice work, sounds like you know what you're doing.
