I was a little scared by the waveform, but you've got that distortion domesticated. You've got the whole ensemble falling in line on this one, wild instruments eating out of your hand. Is Maximusmonk a reference to the FL plugin?

Thanks. I appreciate the descriptive review. Maximusmonk is NOT a reference to the plugin. It's a silly name I came up with many ages ago when I started tinkering with midi software and had no clue what I was doing. I think I'd recently watched Gladiator (hence the Maximus), and I liked the alliteration with Monk, which reflected my theological interests and my affinity for Gregorian Chant. When I got back into music mixing and got serious about it, I decided to resurrect the old name, even though it's probably kinda dumb. :)
Drums sound a little dry but I am loving the tones and textures. Reminds me of the snow biome in Terraria. Nice work, sounds like you know what you're doing.
Agree need to work on bringing out the drums somehow. Thanks!
Need a little transient processing / de-essing, only complaint.
Amazing work on the transitions, it takes work to make patterns flow together like that. Sounds like one piece of music!
Comedic take on the shithole-earth scenario unfolding, and a damn good work of music production. Nicely done!
Dry but good. Almost too busy after 1:35, but I'd say any song you can listen to all the way through is pretty good. Gotta love those nostalgic vibes.
Thanks for checking out one of my oldies! I'm glad you liked it :)
I know this is like a five year old song, but hearing it now I really like it. Its a nice break from complex beatmashing and glitch stuff. Well mastered except for the last part where the bass got drowned out. For the most part I could hear 5+ things going on, great job on that!
I've been a fan of your music for the better part of a decade, I hope you're still enjoying working on it. I used to listen to you on an iPod riding the bus!
I feel like I'm melting a little bit. Nice!
I absolutely love that intro. I don't think another song on Earth starts in that same way, its like a fingerprint. Just a slight hint of tension and then the reverb washes it out like a sandcastle.
Such a beautiful thing when keyboard skills get combined with electronic know-how.
